Hi, my name is Taylor and I'm currently an 8th grade student at Westridge Middle School. This summer (2003) I have been given the opportunity to participate in a program called People to People. People to People is a student ambassador program founded by President Eisenhower; I will be going to Europe with 25 other students my age for three weeks. During our trip, we will go to places such as Paris, France and Salzburg, Austria (where my delegation will visit the deep salt mines there), as well as staying with a family in Austria for three days. I am going to try to update this website with my experiences as a student ambassador while I am there; in the meantime, I have a lot of fascinating facts about the countries in Europe.
